The first trailer for Cherry is finally out, and Tom Holland’s first pairing with the Russo Bros outside of The MCU looks pretty great. At it’s heart, Cherry is a love story, wrapped up in a story about a soldier with PTSD, a heist film, and good amount of 4th wall breaking.
Starring alongside Holland is Ciara Bravo who can currently be seen in Hulu’s A Teacher. We’re not sure if it’s just a trailer, but everything about this movie is making us want to watch it. It’s just a shame that the film is getting an Apple TV+ release, because that means most people aren’t going to get a chance to see it.
If you do have Apple TV +, Cherry will drop on the streamer on February 26th.
In an epic odyssey of romance, war, drug addiction, and crime, a young man (Tom Holland) struggles to find his place in the world. Directed by the Russo Brothers. In theaters on February 26 and exclusively on Apple TV+ March 12.
Cherry, an Apple Original Films, Hideaway Entertainment, and AGBO production in association with Endeavor Content, stars Tom Holland and Ciara Bravo. Screenplay by Angela Russo-Otstot and Jessica Goldberg.
