A handful of new set images from the set of Joss Whedon’s “The Avengers” have been released online and they include your first look at Chris Evans in his new Captain America costume. From the “The First Avengers” teaser we did get a glimpse of the new threads, but this time we get to see him cowled up with shield looking “heroic.” The new modern costume is similar to the old one but a lot more sleek and Ultimate inspired. It also reminds me a lot of a gigantic blue wetsuit.
“The Avengers” is currently filming in Cleveland, Ohio. The film is set to hit theaters in May 2012.
