When Cuphead came out, It felt like a very special game because of the classic animated style of the characters and the action. It almost felt like you were playing a classic Disney or Fleischer toon. Well, it seems like some studio execs thought it looked so much like a cartoon that it should be one, and that is exactly what is about to happen over at Netflix. Check out the announcement that just dropped on Twitter:
The new show is part of a larger strategy by King Features, the company that holds licenses for classic comic strips like Popeye, Flash Gordon, and Betty Boop. In Fact, Flash Gordon is also currently in development for an animated film from Thor: Ragnarok’s Taika Waititi.
