There had been some rumors that Daniel Craig would be ending his tenure as James Bond after the newest 007 film, Skyfall, hits theaters. There had even been a little bit of talk as to who would be the next super spy. A lot of fans were hoping that Idris Elba (Prometheus, Thor, Luthor) would get the nod and become the first black James Bond. Now, word has come through that Craig will in fact be back for the 24th and 25th films.

This is all pretty interesting because Daniel Craig has been a bit luke warm about keeping the role, but I guess the money was good enough to keep him around. When he’s done, he’ll be the third longest serving bond with five films.

Skyfall opens overseas on October 26th and in North America on November 9th.
