When we heard Channing Tatum was going to be in a film called ‘Lost City of D’ we were half expecting it to be another Magic Mike sequel. Thankfully, that’s not the case. Instead, this Sandra Bullock-led action-adventure romance comedy features the actress as a famous and reclusive author who is sent on a book-signing tour with her book cover model (Tatum). As bad as the trip is for Bullock’s character, it all takes a turn for the worse when they are kidnapped in the jungle by the villain of the film who will now be played by Daniel Radcliffe.

This movie sounds awesome and possibly stupid, but like it is set up to be a lot of fun. Watch Radcliffe’s career post Harry Potter has been one of the most interesting journeys we’ve seen an actor take in a long time. He’s gone out of his way to take on quirky independents, heavy dramas, and excellent TV series, Miracle Workers. It’s going to be a lot of fun to see him play an over-the-top villain in a movie that sounds like it could have been conceived in 1998.
