The first big piece of news to drop at Comic-Con this year was tthe return of The Clone Wars to the new Disney Streaming Network. Now we’ve got the second piece of news, Greg Berlanti, the man who pretty much built the CW’s Arrowverse, is bringing Stargirl to the new DC Streaming service as a new live-action series.
The new action series will be part of a live-action line-up that also includes Titans, Swamp Thing, and Doom Patrol. The show will follow Courtney Whitmore as a high-school sophomore as she fights even and begins gathering up a group of heroes that will probably end up becoming the Justice Society of America.
That’s all we know about the show. There’s currently no star attached, but you’ll be able to find it on DC Universe, which will launch in the fall at a cost of $74.99 per year or $7.99 a month.
