Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the culmination of the hopes and dreams of pretty much every Star Wars fan in the world. The idea that they can walk right into a Star Wars planet, ride the Millennium Falcon, and fight the First Order assures that people will be lined up well before the theme parks open at Disneyland next summer and Disney World next Fall.
Today, Disney unveiled the names and teaser trailers for the two anchor attractions that will open with the new parks. The attractions will be called Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and Rise of The Resistance. In Smuggler’s Run, park guests will have a chance to pilot the Millennium Falcon on a mission that can alter their theme-park experience depending on how whether or not they succeed. As to what that means, we aren’t sure, but it will probably mean that you’ll be hassled by Storm Troopers or given special perks along the way. The second attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, will put guests on the deck of a First Order destroyer where they will come face to face with Adam Driver/ Kylo Ren in battle!
