Matt Smith may have left the Tardis behind, but his career is traveling to all manner of new directions. The once Time Lord has just signed up to play Patrick Bateman in the musical stage version of American Psycho.
However, before that, he’s still got 2 more episodes of Doctor Who: The 50th Anniversary Special and the Christmas Special, where he’ll be replaced by Peter Capaldi.
If you haven’t seen American Psycho, it’s based on the Bret Easton Ellis novel and tells the story of a wealthy, psychopathic New York investment banker who embarks on a killing spree.
