The first teaser has dropped for one of the most interesting new shows from Disney+ since the creation of the streaming network. We’ll be honest. We really don’t know anything about the show other than it combines anime and live-action and it’s got some great-looking dragons. Check out the synopsis and trailer below:
The story revolves around Nagi, a fantasy-loving high school student in the real-world city of Yokosuka, Japan, and Tyme a “dropout” dragon rider who resides in the anime world of Upananta. When floating islands start to fall out of the sky in Upananta, Tyme sets out on a journey to solve the crisis by finding the missing hero, Akuta. It turns out the the crisis in Upananta could also have dire consequences for the real world and Akuta is currently on his own mission in the real world to find a solution that could save both realities.
