The cast for Dwayne Johnson’s long-awaited Black Adam DC film just got even better. In the new film, where Johnson is set to play DC Comics baddie, Black Adam, and it was recently announced that Aldis Hodge and Noah Centineo have come on board to play Hawkman and Atom Smasher respectively, Deadline is now reporting that Sarah Shahi (Person of Interest) is also set to join the cast.
While we don’t expect Shahi to have any superpowers, at least at first, we currently know that she’ll be playing a university professor and freedom fighter leading the resistance in Kahndaq.
Realistically, we can expect to see Johnson, Hodge, Centineo, and Shahi on screen sometime in 2022, despite the fact that the film still claims to be set for a December 2021 release.
Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
