Press Release:
LOKAI BRINGS THE POWER OF MARVEL TO YOUR WRIST WITH MARVEL-INSPIRED BRACELETS IN SUPPORT OF MAKE-A-WISH®
Lokai will donate $1 per bracelet sold to Make-A-Wish to continue advancing the organization’s mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
October 12, 2020 – New York, NY. In order to Find Your Power, first you must Find Your Balance. Lokai, the socially responsible lifestyle brand best known for their bracelets that inspire the wearer to find balance through life’s highs and lows, has teamed up with Marvel with the release of ten new bracelets, each of which features iconic elements and characters from the Marvel Universe, reminding us all to find the hero inside.
Every Lokai bracelet is infused with elements from the highest and lowest points on earth. The white bead carries water from Mt Everest, and the black bead is infused with mud from the Dead Sea. These opposing elements serve as a daily reminder to the wearer to stay humble through life’s highs and hopeful through the lows.
Because Lokai believes that giving back brings balance, Lokai will donate $1 per each bracelet sold from the collection to Make-A-Wish, a longtime partner that had to postpone certain types of wishes due to COVID-19 and innovate rapidly to grant wishes in new ways now for children with critical illnesses. Since partnering with Make-A-Wish in 2016 on the original bracelet, and more recently the Disney by Lokai and Star Wars™ by Lokai collections earlier this year, Lokai has helped the organization grant 70 wishes (one of which you can see here) and is proud to continue supporting the organization through this trying year.
“We are thrilled to continue building our longstanding partnership with Lokai through the release of the Marvel collection,” said Janell Holas, chief marketing officer for Make-A-Wish America. “With their support, we have been able to continue bringing experiences of hope to our wish families when they need it most.”
Each Marvel bracelet retails for $22 and is available at lokai.com and at select retailers nationwide. To accommodate Disney’s younger fanbase, Lokai has also created an X-Small size option for products within this collection.
