Funny men Ed Helms and Jason Segel are teaming up to co-star in a new stoner comedy, “Jeff Who Lives at Home.”
The film is about a loser named Jeff (Segel) who has an epiphany about his destiny while out on an errand for his mother. Meanwhile, Helms will play Jeff’s overbearing but much more successful brother.
The project is written and directed by Duplass brothers Mark and Jay. Jason Reitman’s production company is set to produce alongside Johon Malkovich’s company. There are talks that Judy Greer will play Helm’s wife, but that’s tentative for now.
Not much else is known for this project as it’s in early development stages, but with the talent involved it sounds like it’s more than just a simple comedic stoner film. This is a film I’d definitely watch for.
Production will officially begin next month.
