Richard Pryor was one of the greatest comedians of the 20th century. He led a life of ups and downs. In fact he almost burned himself to death while doing drugs. All this seems like it would be the perfect material for a movie and movie studios agree.
The man behind Dreamgirls will be tackling the Pryor Biopic as his next big project. What’s more, they’ve picked Eddie Murphy to play the lead. This could be good for Eddie. he’s due for another good role. Other than his part in Dreamgirls its just been one Pluto Nash after another.
