Facebook Live’s New Feature Gives It Cable TV Capabilities

I’ve been playing with Periscope for a while now, so I’ve not really given much attention to Facebook live, That might have to change now that the streaming feature has just unveiled their newest capability. YOu can now stream a second stream within the first stream. That means you can interview someone in a different video location and viewers can see what is happening for both people. The very first stream in a stream happened earlier today when a reporter from ABC News interviewed billionaire and Sharktank member, Mr. Wonderful.

You’ll see this implemented by daily vloggers and some news sites pretty quickly, but the opportunities for ways the new feature can be utilized are pretty vast. It will be interesting to see how this effects Periscope.
