In what is feeling like one of the worst-kept secrets in Hollywood, the cast of Marvel’s Fantastic Four has been revealed. It is now official. Pedro Pascal, is Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby is Susan Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach is Ben Grimm/ The Thing, and Joseph Quinn is Johnny Storm/ The Human Torch. While Pascal still feels a little bit like stunt casting to us, the rest of the team sounds about as perfect as we could hope for.
Along with the announcement, we got a first-look illustration of the team along with some details about the movie. As has been rumored for a long time, it looks like we’ll be getting a period piece that is set in the 1960s. If we had to guess, the film would end up with them getting pulled out of time (possibly into the quantum realm) only for them to be reunited with the MCU in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars film. It has also been confirmed that the FF’s robot pal, H.E.R.B.I.E. will be along for the journey.
We might get a bit more info at Comic-Con or D23, but we won’t see the finished product until The Fantastic Four hits theaters on July 25th, 2025.
