The origin of Victor Von Doom’s transformation is as as much a part of The Fantastic Four as Herbie or the Baxter Building, but don’t expect to see it in the new film adaptation by Josh Trank.
In a recent interview with Collider, the actor playing Doom, Toby Kebbell, had this to say about the character’s new origin… and name.
“He’s Victor Domashev, not Victor Von Doom in our story. And I’m sure I’ll be sent to jail for telling you that. The Doom in ours—I’m a programmer. Very anti-social programmer. And on blogging sites I’m “Doom”.
