Here is the final U.S. theatrical poster for James Cameron’s overly ambitious “Avatar” which is said (or hoped) to revolutionize 3D cinema. Not much can be said about the movie poster, as it’s rather uninspiring with the fading floating head anyone with a cracked version of Photoshop can create.
The buzz for the film must also be lukewarm, as the poster features a new tag line hyping Cameron as the director of “Titanic” and “Terminator 2.” Studio heads must be hoping that his reputation and past achievements are enough to sell the Fern Gully 3D war epic.
