The first clip from ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ just dropped and it gives us a longer look at a scene from the trailer that will make any LEGO aficionado cry. The clip we’re talking about is, of course, the one where Peter Parker thinks he’s successfully sneaked in the window without Aunt May finding out his identity, only to find that his best friend is dutifully hanging out on his bed, waiting for his return.
One thing that the new Spider-Man casting and film seems to have gotten better than previous movies is that Peter Parker feels like a regular kid with normal high school problems. They’ve done an excellent job of pairing Holland up with his best friend in the movie, Jacob Batalon (Ned).
Along with Holland and Batalon, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ also stars: Robert Downey Jr, Batalon, Zendaya, Angourie Rice, Tony Revolori, Bokeem Woodbine, Jon Favreau, Logan Marshall-Green, Tomei, and Donald Glover.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
