Here’s your first behind-the-scenes look at Warner Brothers’ new “Mortal Kombat” web series. The image comes to us courtesy of Jeri Ryan who will play Sonya Blade in the digital web series.
The first “Mortal Kombat” episode is expected to be released sometime in April, and will also star Darren Shahlavi as Kano and Michael Jai White as Jax. No other cast members have been announced.
Kevin Tancharoen who directed and produced the original web sensation “Mortal Kombat: Rebirth” will director. Filming is currently underway in Vancouver.
Fans of Mortal Kombat should be excited as 2011 seems to literally be its rebirth. From a new live-action web series, to Blu-ray release and a new game. It’s like 1993 and Mortal Monday all over again!
