The first clip from Super 8 was released ant while it looks great. I’m still having a lot of trouble getting excited about the new JJ Abrams movie. Is it a kid’s movie? Is it family friendly horror? Is it a movie for grown ups that focuses on kids… like Stand By Me?
I’m a big fan of most of Abrams’ Stuff. I’m even really looking forward to Alcatraz, which I’ll be posting a trailer for after this, but something about this just feels kind of uninspired. That said, he’s got a major history of keeping stuff under his belt and not giving too many details so people can experience the movie with fresh eyes. I’m hoping that’s the case here.
