It is such a nice change to see a villain who isn’t all CGI. Today, we are getting our first look at Jamie Foxx as Electro from Amazing Spider-Man 2. Right now, all I can say is that he is the most menacing Smurf I’ve ever seen.
Honestly, I’m really happy with what I’m seeing here. I know that we will be getting some heavy CG add ons, but I really hated how the Lizard looked in the first film and I love this more grounded look (no pun intended). Also, I think we can all be happy with the fact that they did’t put him in the classic green and yellow costume.
Joining Foxx in the film are: Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Dane DeHaan, Shailene Woodley, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, Chris Cooper, and Sally Field.
