First Look: Comic Book Cover Art For The Death Of (Ultimate) Spider-Man

Marvel has released one of the variant comic book cover arts for the upcoming The Death of Spider-Man saga which is set to begin this month in the newest issue of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man and Ultimate Avengers vs. New Ultimates.

Drawn by Ed McGuiness (Hulk), this variant cover art represents the final issue of the story arc in which the Ultimate Marvel universe is changed forever.

Issue #157 of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man will hit your local comic book shops this April.

If for whatever reason you’re depressed over this news, just remember that no one stays dead forever in comics. Plus, this is Spider-Man from the Ultimate Marvel Universe that was created just a decade ago and ISN’T the REAL Spider-Man from the 616 Universe that’s cannon.
