With the success of Archer: Dreamland, the Archer, and his team are about to embark on another genre-themed adventure. This time, they’ll be heading to a tropical island in the 1930’s for fun, intrigue and more ‘phrasing’ than you can shake a stick at.
Archer: Danger Island stars Sterling Archer (H. Jon Benjamin), Malory Archer (Jessica Walter), Lana Kane a.k.a. Princess Lanaluakalani (Aisha Tyler), Cheryl Tunt a.k.a. FXX’s Archer is an original animated, half-hour comedy that, in its ninth season, centers on the semi-functioning alcoholic seaplane pilot, Sterling Archer, a lush on the lush South Pacific island of Mitimotu in 1939. While the rest of the world is concerned about the impending Second World War, Archer is only concerned with who’s buying his next drink. Along with his trusty co-pilot Pam, Sterling must navigate quicksand, cannibals, super-intelligent monkeys, poison darts, pirates, and did we mention quicksand?
