I just saw the trailer for the Ghostbuster Reboot and I’m still sort of in the middle about it. I like that it now appears the film is a continuation of the story (at least that’s what the initial text leads us to believe). I loved seeing Slimer back in the mix. I’m just not sure if I loved seeing the actual new Ghostbusters. I don’t care that they are all women. Something about it just didn’t gel for me. It might when I see more trailers, but I’m not quite there yet.

Right now, I can see that they are definitely showing respect to the originals, but only time… and more footage will tell if this movie stands on it’s own feet.

Thirty years after the original film took the world by storm, Ghostbusters is back and fully rebooted for a new generation. Director Paul Feig combines all the paranormal fighting elements that made the original franchise so beloved with a cast of new characters, played by the funniest actors working today. Get ready to watch them save the world this summer!

Ghostbusters stars Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, And Chris Hemsworth.

Currently. public opinion seems mixed to say the least. On Youtube, the trailer now has 16,604 thumb’s up and 20,769 thumbs down.
