Jon Hamm has been in the news a lot lately, but we haven’t seen him in a big screen role in a while. Now that is about to change with his new Baseball flick, Million Dollar Arm. The film is the latest in Disney’s series of “based on a true story” sports films that also included Miracle and Invincible. One of the best things the movie has going for it is a solid supporting cast that includes Lake Bell, Bill Paxton, Aasif Mandvi, Alan Arkin, Suraj Sharma, and Madhurt Mittal. I’m also pretty excited see that the script was written by Tom McCarthy, who also wrote the great indie film The Station Agent.
