After much speculations, Harrison Ford has officially confirmed his involvement and will join Daniel Craig (007) and Olivia Wilde (Tron: Legacy) in the graphic novel adaption of the action sci-fi western, “Cowboys & Aliens.”
Director Jon Favreau officially announced Ford’s involvement via Twitter yesterday just to shut everyone up. “Please stop asking if Harrison Ford is in Cowboys & Aliens. Okay?” he wrote. “He is. Please don’t tell anybody.”
Based on the graphic novel, “Cowboys & Aliens” will see Craig, Ford and Wilde in a sci-fi western like none other, to help protect humanity from an alien invasion!
Written by Roberto Orci (Star Trek), Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof (Lost), “Cowboys & Aliens” is set to hit theaters in 2011. It will be Jon Favreau’s next film after “Iron Man 2.”
