It’s amazing that with all the problems this movie has had and all the money that keeps getting tossed down its throat to make it better, Disney didn’t pull the plug on it the moment that they finalized their deal to buy FOX. At worst, most fans assumed the movie would just be shelved. At best, we figured it might get released on Hulu, where Disney pushes all the fare that’s too hot for Disney+.
Amazingly, it now appears that the film is set to hit theaters in April and a new trailer for it will be out on Monday. Here’s the message director Josh Boone just posted on Instagram:
