Fans rejoiced when they heard that JK Rowling had announced the newest chapter in the adventures of Harry Potter and his friend: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II. It wasn’t long after that when they realized that the only way they might be able to experience it any time soon would be to fly to London and see the stage production. Now, fans are rejoicing because Rowling has announced, via Pottermore, that you’ll be able to find out what happens next in the world of wizardry for a lot less than a plane ticket.
According to the site, a Special Rehearsal Edition of the script book of new stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II is set to publish in both print and digital editions simultaneously after the play’s world premiere this summer. The book will include the version of the play script at the time of the play’s preview performances.
Later in the year, that edition will be a Definitive Collector’s Edition featuring the final script for the play.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child picks up immediately after the epilogue in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, 19 year after the battle of Hogwarts.
