Geoff Johns Announces Live-Action Blue Beetle Show In Development

This weekend Geoff Johns announced via Twitter that DC Entertainment is developing a live action Blue Beetle show. The show would be based off of the new Blue Beetle, Jamie Reyes rather than the original, Ted Kord. Of course, who’s to say that the original won’t show up?!

“Blue Beetle’s going to appear in most of the Brave and the Bold’s this year and we’re hoping to develop a live-action show. Fingers crossed!,” Johns tweeted.

Johns has also seen the live-action test of Jaime Reyes’ scarab activating his suit and believes it’s “awesome.”

Lastly, while we don’t have any footage, John tweeted that he’ll try and “break it out of the vault” so he can show it to everyone at SDCC 2010.
