Chief Carnivus Revealed As MOTU September Figure & Other News

Chief Carnivus was revealed at Wizard World Philadelphia this weekend to be the the Masters of the Universe Classics September figure.

Friday night was a big one for MOTU. First, the brand was inducted into the ToyFare Hall of Fame during Wizard World Philadelphia and our own Scott Neitlich was on hand to accept the award on behalf of Mattel. Then, Scott went on to reveal our September MOTU figure. Ready? It’s the one and only fantastic feline himself… Chief Carnivus™!

If you’re wondering who the heck Chief Carnivus is, he’s a fan-favorite figure who made his first appearance in the 200x series. Chief Carnivus is expected to go on sale Wednesday, September 15th only at MattyCollector.com.

Other MOTUC news include:

– Grizzlor will be an upcoming figure. A teaser shot of his backside was revealed. He will be fuzzy, with yellow armor and he has a blue crossbow.
– There will be a new figure each moth from September through December
– The oversized Gygor figure will come out in September
– Fans can expect a second Weapon Pack #2 (Great Wars) in October
– The previously announced King Grayskull repaint will come out in November
– Army Builder 2-pack also coming out in November
– There will also be several reissues every month. Most likely Battle Cat, He-Man, and Skeletor
