GODZILLA Reboot Casting And Monster Update

There’s been a lot of news lately about the upcoming Godzilla Reboot. We already know that Kick-Ass’ Aaron Taylor-Johnson will most likely be the main protagonist. We also know that Frank darabont was recently brought in to tweak the final draft. He’s now promising that his version will return Godzilla to his roots as a “terrifying force of nature.” Now, we’ve got some new info that should excite pretty much everyone.

First up is casting. Several outlets are reporting that Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen are in talks to join the film. While there’s no word on who Olsen would be playing (we are guessing Johnson’s love interest), word is that Cranston will be playing Johnson’s step father.

Finally, there is some some conflicting news about monsters in the film. Several outlets are reporting that there will be at least two other monsters in the film along with Godzilla.

Godzilla is set for a May 16, 2014 release.
