Green Lantern Animated Series Concept Art and Test Footage

Has there ever been this much hype over a cartoon that is still 18 months away from hitting the airwaves? From the looks of what was finally revealed at NYCC, it looks like the hype might be deserved!

This past weekend, fans got a chance to see the concept art and even a short teaser for the Green Lantern Animated series that will be launching in the spring of 2012.

Check out the art and these extra details that were revealed.

First, you can expect to see at least 26 episodes, but Sinestro will not be the first 13. Also, while the colored lanterns will feature into the show at some point, the big baddies will be the Red Lanterns.
