It was recently confirmed that Haliee Steinfeld will be playing Kate Bishop in the upcoming Disney+ MCU Hawkeye series. Now we have some news about several other players that will be entering the field. First up is Florence Pugh, better known as Yelena Belova from the upcoming Black Widow film with Scarlett Johanssen. By the time the Hawkeye story takes place, Natasha has already sacrificed herself during the events of Avengers: Endgame, so this could be a more formalized intro of the character as the new Black Widow.
Additionally, it has been announced that Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring) will take the role of Kate’s mom, Eleanor Bishop. Fra Fee (Les Misérables), is playing Marvel villain, Clown. Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul) is playing The Swordsman, Clint Barton’s mentor. Alaqua Cox is playing Echo.
The cast is getting pretty stacked with talent and the show is currently filming as you can see from the set photos of Jeremy Renner and Steinfeld together in the park.
