We aren’t sure what took so long, but Amazon has finally renewed their hit show, Hunters, for a second season on the Amazon Prime streaming platform. If you haven’t seen it, the 1970’s set series tells the story of a group of people hunting Nazis that escaped prosecution after the end of World war II. The show stars Al Pacino, Jerrika Hinton, Logan Lerman, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin.
We really can’t tell you anything about season one without spoiling it, but the show was definitely left at a spot where season 2 was not only possible, but it is needed.
Here’s what Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios told Deadline about the renewal:
“With Hunters, David Weil’s bold vision and fearless imagination powered a thrilling, twisty, action-packed first season that engaged Prime Video customers around the world. We are thrilled that David, Jordan and the Hunters will be back with us for more.”
There is currently no word on when season 2 will start filming, or when it will drop on the streamer.
