Jeffrey Reiner To Helm David E. Kelley’s ‘Wonder Woman’ Series

If final negotiations pass, it appears that Jeffrey Reiner will direct WB’s/NBC’s “Wonder Woman” TV series.

According to Deadline the “Friday Night Lights” director Jeffery Reiner is close to signing on to direct the pilot for the new live action “Wonder Woman” series. The series is being reimagined by David E. Kelley where the iconic character is transformed into a modern woman who is a successful corporate executive by day and vigilante crime fighter in L.A by night.

Reiner is no stranger to TV series and has worked on “Trauma,” “Caprica” and “The Event.” McG (Terminator Salvation) was in negotiations for the project but bailed due to scheduling conflicts.
