If you’ve read JK Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them or even just seen the trailer, you know that the story, which takes place in the time of Harry Potter’s grandparents, takes the adventure to New York City.
Today, Rowling has announced that Pottermore will be providing “History of Magic in North America”, a series of stories that will help set the stage for Fantastic Beasts.
“The wizard school of the United States, Ilvermorny; Skin-walkers, a Native American legend; The Salem witch trials, a formative event for the country’s national magical identity; and the US version of the Ministry of Magic, the Magical Congress of the United States of America.”
Fans won’t have to wait long for the fun to begin, the first story is set for release at 9 AM EST and a new one will release each day through Friday.
