The more I think about Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the more I think his name will be attached to the franchise in the same way that Joel Shumacher is attached to the Batman franchise. We just saw the first teaser for the film… and I’m still trying to get the taste out of my mouth. Now we have some new news about who will be supplying some of the voices to the cast. Just announced today, Johnny Knoxville and Tony Shalhoub are joining the movie to supply the voices to Leonardo and Splinter respectively. If Shredder isn’t Japanese, why would you expect Splinter to be?

Official Synopsis:
The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.
