Juno Temple has officially been confirmed for an unknown role in Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises.” Temple was rumored to have been up for a role last Friday when Joseph Gordon-Levitt was confirmed, but the deal has since been finalized and she will join Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman and Tom Hardy in Nolan’s latest Batman installment.
While it’s anyone’s guess who Temple will play, reports are saying that she’s expected to play a “Street-smart Gotham girl,” which could mean just about anything.
Speculations are running rampant of course, suggesting that she may play a female Robin, which we first saw in Frank Miller’s seminal graphic novel “The Dark Knight Returns” to another one of Miller’s character, Holly Robinson, a friend to Selina Kyle, AKA Catwoman who was first introduced in “Batman: Year One” also written by Miller.
