It’s good to be Chris Pratt right now. Years after his humble beginnings as the jock brother on Everwood, he’s at the top of the A-list. He’s the lead in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, He’s a main voice in the upcoming LEGO movie, and now he’s been officially cast as the male lead in Jurassic World, the fourth film in the Jurassic Park franchise. This movie is a continuation of the original story, taking place 22 years after the events of the first film.
The announcement of Pratt rounds out a cast that also includes: Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson , and Ty Simpkins.
Jurassic World is set for a June 12, 2015 release date.
