The Brad Pitt/ Angelina Jolie film, Mr. and Mrs. Smith is getting a reboot of sorts and this time around, Deadline is reporting that the movie will star Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us) and Kerry Washington (Scandal/ Django Unchained).

There are no details on Shadow Force right now, other than the fact that it’s being described as a Fresh Take on the 2005 box office hit. The script was penned by Simpson Street’s Pilar Savone and the movie is set to be produced by Washington. No director is formally announced at this point and no release date is currently slated. We’ll keep you up to date as soon as there’s news.

Savone is currently executive producing ‘Little Fires Everywhere’, starring Washington and Reese Witherspoon. Additionally, she has produced several films from Quentin Tarantino including Grindhouse, Deathprooth, Inglorious Basterds, and Django Unchained.
