Can’t get enough of Edward and Bella?
“Twilight” and its upcoming sequel “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” not enough? Then maybe what you need is the manga-style “Twilight” graphic novel.
Entertainment Weekly recently announced that Yen Press will be publishing a “Twilight” graphic-novel and Korean artist Young Kim will illustrate. Meyers herself is said to be deeply immersed in the project and while the art won’t be photo-realistic renditions of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, Meyer’s original descriptions and characterizations will heavily influence the graphic novel’s look and artistic rendering.
Currently there is no word yet on how many books are planned, but rest assure, if the demand is there it’d be nearly endless. It is also unsure if any new material will be added. But for now, it appears as if it will be a words-to-comics appropriation.
Considering Stephenie Meyer drew inspiration largely from comic books, it only makes sense that a “Twilight” comic book adaptation is on its way. The real question however is, what took so long?
