Marvel just announced the cast for their next live action venture, a half-hour comedy adaptation of the ‘New Warriors’ for Disney’s Freeform network. Being framed as a funny, junior Avengers, the show is about “six young people learning to cope with their abilities in a world where bad guys can be as terrifying as bad dates.” The show was created by Cougar Town creator Kevin Biegel.
The big news out of the casting for the show is the role of Squirrel Girl, who will be played by “ATT girl” Milana Vayntrub, who has also appeared on shows like Silicon Valley and This Is Us. Check out the official listing for the rest of the cast:
