Nick just released a first look at the upcoming Hey Arnold movie, Hey Arnold: The Jungle. The new special will rejoin Arnold and his friends just a couple years after we left them, as they are preparing to enter the sixth grade. If you remember how the original series ended, Arnold found a secret map in one of his father’s journals. That map is going to be the basis for this entire new movie.
The movie, as show creator Craig Bartlett says in the video, is a film that he’s been wanting to make for years, and one that will carry through a lot of things from the original show. Even the island that they visit in the film is the island that Arnold dreamed about in the old episode: Parent’s Day.
