If you are like me, you have been waiting for more news and information about season 2 of Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things, ‘ and we finally have a release date for when new episodes will drop on the streaming network. It was just announced that the second season of the 80’s set sci fi/ horror series will drop on October 27th.
Here’s the official description of season 2:
“It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”
When season 2 begins streaming, it will star returning cast members: Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp and Charlie Heaton, as well as new additions Sean Astin and Paul Reiser.
