Millions of fans have been waiting on pins and needles for the release of Avengers: Infinity War. Lucky for them, the wait just got a little shorter. Marvel just took to social media to announce that the release date is being shifted from May 4th to April 27th. What’s the cause for the change? They aren’t saying, but it probably has something to do with putting a little more distance between Infinity War and Solo: A Star Wars Story. Given the unprecedented success of Black Panther, the studio probably wants to give their next two tentpole releases all the breathing room they can get.
Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Don Cheadle, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Paul Rudd, and Tom Hiddleston.
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
