Bad news for Londoners who can’t get enough gravy on their KFC. It seems that a shipping snafu has led to shortages of the liquid gold throughout the United Kingdom. the problem seems to stem from Shipping company, DHL, who took over logistics for the fast food chain last October. In a statement that they released at the time of the deal, DHL promised to:
“re-write the rule book and set a new benchmark for delivering fresh products to KFC in a sustainable way.”
Perhaps keeping gravy that needs to be shipped across an ocean out of the mouths of people is their way of keeping that promise. Either way, the problem is so bad that nearly every KFC in the country had to shut down last week.
