Just moments ago, Disney+ dropped the new trailer for Loki and we are finally getting a little better idea of the plot for the third MCU series to hit the streaming network. In the new series, which drops on June 11, we’ll see what happens to the version of Loki who escapes with the tesseract during the events of Avengers Endgame.
Having now run afoul of the Time Variance Authority, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), or Variant Loki as he’s being called, has been taken into custody where he’s been tasked with fixing the damage to the timeline that he’s caused. Guiding him along the way is TVA agent, Mobius M. Mobius, played by Owen Wilson. Joining them in the new series is a stellar cast that includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.
Fans are currently enjoying the excellent new series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but at a total of six episodes, the journey is half-way over. Thankfully, there will only be a few weeks of downtime between its end and the start of Loki.
