Thanks to a Redditor by the name of LongJohnSlIver, we now know the names of several upcoming MCU projects. While it has not been confirmed officially by Disney, the studio has trademarked the following titles:
- Avengers: Secret Wars
- Avengers: The Kang Dynasty
- Captain America: New World Order
- Thunderbolts
- Multiverse Saga
There’s a good change that Multiverse Saga is just what they are calling all of the films that take place between phases 4,5, and 6 of the MCU. Meanwhile, they’ve been working towards The Thunderbolts for a while now with characters like John Walker, and Crossbones. It will just be interesting to see if they recast the role of Gen. Thunderbolt Ross now that William Hurt has passed away. They could always bring back Sam Elliot, who played the character in the 2003 Hulk film directed by Ang Lee. They may want to also consider Clancy Brown, who has voiced the character in animated form in the past. He might have exactly the temperament they are looking for if they plan on introducing the Red Hulk.
Avenger: Secret Wars and Kang Dynasty are looking like the next two chapters from that franchise. With previous word that the Russo Brothers have always wanted to bring Secret Wars to the MCU, there’s a chance we may get them back.
Finally, we’ve got Captain America: New World Order. This is most likely the name of the fourth chapter in the Captain America Franchise and the first film where Anthony Mackie will take over the mantle on the big screen.
