News just broke a little while ago that a Manhattan Judge has approved the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy of MGM. This will give the company a chance to reduce their debt, raise more capital and start making movies again.

The biggest piece of news attached to this ruling is that Bond 23 is now back on track. In fact, composer David Arnold is already talking about it.

“We only just got the news that we’re back on. But ‘there’s many a slip twixt cup and lip’ So I will keep quiet until I get a script and then start writing ideas. I just hope the next one is as good as my favorites, as I think everyone does. And I’m always interested in what Daniel Craig brings to the part. But like most things with movies, if it ain’t on the page etc… All I can say is that I’m looking forward to a great script for it, alongside every other Bond fan in the world!”

Interestingly, earlier today, Darren Aronofsky said he’d still love to make Robocop… in only MGM could get their money situation in order.

“Well, ‘RoboCop’ may still happen one day, who knows? It’s MGM and hopefully they’ll clear their stuff up and I’m still interested. David Self wrote a great script, but the company went under so…”
