Two bits of news today for Star Wars Episode VII.

First up, Michael B Jordan’s name has been floating around for a while now as someone who has gone in for an audition. Now, we’ve got confirmation on it via this new quote from him in an interview with the Huffington Post:

“I mean, everybody’s going in on this project. They’re trying to figure out what they want. That’s another incredible franchise. It’s pretty crazy! … We’ll see how it happens. I don’t know how I can do everything.”

Next up, Harrison Ford. It is now being reported that he hasn’t made up his mind about whether he’ll be coming back to reprise his role as Han Solo. That said, here’s what he had to say about coming back for another Indiana Jones movie:

“I would do [Indiana Jones 5] in a New York minute, yes. I don’t think there is any barrier to Indiana Jones being an old fart. I’m old enough that we don’t need (Sean) Connery any more. I’m old enough to play my own father!’”

While both the last Indiana Jones movie and the last Star Wars films were garbage, I’d rather see him back in the best than in the fedora and whip.
